Description.
Celadon jade sculpture with natural brown inclusions, carved in the shape of a scholarly rock with multiple perforations and organic shapes, evoking the contemplation stones used in traditional Chinese studies. It is presented on a carved wooden pedestal that mimics the shape of a rock base. The piece stands out for its polished finish and the careful perforation that suggests natural erosion. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
