Description.
A monumental ornament carved from Shoushan stone of the Tianhuang variety, with a sumptuous reddish and honey-coloured hue. The surface is lavishly carved in continuous relief with a mountainous landscape, depicting pavilions, pine trees, bridges and figures, and is completed on the reverse with a poetic inscription. With a carved and openwork wooden plinth. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
