Description.
Two finely carved jade plaques. One of them, lobed in shape, depicts the figure of an elderly man accompanied by plant motifs; the other, octagonal in profile, features calligraphy on both sides. Both pieces have perforations on the upper edge for possible use as pendants. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).
