Description.
Pair of doll chairs, crafted from carved wood and upholstered in sumptuous brocade velvet in vibrant red with floral and vegetal motifs. The pieces feature a structure of sinuous, curved lines in a historicist style, with a discreetly carved crest on the backrest. The armrests, finished with scrolls, lead to front supports lavishly decorated with acanthus leaf motifs and an openwork valance with a central flower. They rest on cabriole-style front legs, also terminating in scrolls.
