Description.
A pair of light beige rectangular jade buckles with brown oxidised areas. Each piece has a simple, symmetrical design, with a central longitudinal groove and a surface finely engraved with the traditional ‘谷纹’ rice grain pattern, symbolising prosperity and longevity. Discreet spiral finials are visible at the ends. The polish is smooth, emphasising the natural texture of the stone. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
