Description.
A symmetrical pair of ceremonial belt hooks crafted from yellow jade with greenish highlights and an ochre-brown patina. Each piece features an arched, bridge-like structure with a cylindrical fastening button at the back, culminating in a stylised dragon’s head with an open mouth and erect ears; along the curved shaft, there is rich incised ornamentation of spirals and small dragons in high relief, accompanied by an articulated, openwork plate with a quadrangular silhouette and decorative volutes. Han Dynasty (202 BC–220 AD) or later.
