Hand-painted paper fan. The central scene depicts a romantic encounter taking place in a shoe shop. In the lower right corner, the artist’s signature and the title “Shoe Shop (Capobianoti)/Romano” are visible. The sides and bottom edge of the fan are adorned with intricate and exquisite scrollwork, golden curls, and Rococo-style floral bouquets. Bone rods.
