Description.
Hand-painted paper fan with an openwork, polychrome mother-of-pearl structure. The panel depicts a detailed scene in an academic style, featuring numerous figures dressed in the aesthetic of classical Roman frescoes. No visible signature. It is presented protected within a period fan case, upholstered in maroon velvet and finished with a spectacular carved and gilded wooden frame.
