Description.
A ‘double gourd’ vase made of porcelain, glazed in blue beneath the glaze on a white background. It has a bulbous silhouette with two spherical sections joined by a narrow waist featuring a geometric latticework border. Both bulbous sections are decorated with a continuous pattern of peonies and lotuses in full bloom amongst winding stems and serrated leaves, framed by bands of petals. The unglazed circular base reveals the ceramic body.
