Description.
Devotional figure made of polychrome ceramic, with textile appliqués embroidered in gold and gemstones, and gilded metal elements. The Virgin, crowned and haloed by starry rays, carries the Baby Jesus on her right arm. She stands on a cloud supported by angels and cherubs, in a clear reference to traditional Valencian iconography. The meticulousness of the upholstery, the folds of the mantle, and the use of mixed materials are noteworthy, lending great visual and spiritual richness to the composition.
