Description.
A flask-shaped vessel, whose form is derived from traditional nomadic leather bags. Modelled in stoneware, it is covered in a rich three-colour (Sancai) glaze, green in colour on the body, bordered by raised amber-coloured bands. A notable feature is the upper handle, sculpted in the shape of an elongated dragon. On both sides of the body is a galloping horse, glazed in amber. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
