Description.
Polychrome porcelain in the shape of a basket with a lobed rim and a fixed top handle. It is decorated with the coat of arms of the British East India Company (HEIC), surmounted by a rampant lion and flanked by two lions holding flags bearing the Cross of St George. Inside, the inscription reads: ‘AUSPICIO REGIS ET SENATUS ANGLIA’. The decoration is completed with bouquets of flowers.
