Description.
A semicircular enamelled porcelain bowl with a slightly curved rim and a cylindrical base. The exterior decoration is finely executed in fencai (pink family) enamel, with a continuous vegetal composition of intertwining branches featuring abundant multicoloured flowers, predominantly peonies and chrysanthemums, framed by stylized leaves on a white background. The decoration extends evenly over the entire outer surface, while the interior remains completely blank with an elegant white glaze. On the base is a six-character cobalt-blue seal “大清光绪年制”. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
