Description.
A porcelain bowl with a rounded body and slightly open sides, set on a small ring base. The exterior is decorated with an elegant floral motif consisting of branches of peony blossoms in polychrome enamel in shades of pink, red, blue, yellow and green. The contours and details of the leaves and petals are outlined in black enamel, a technique characteristic of the wucai style. The interior remains plain and glazed in white. On the base, within a double blue circle, is a six-character seal in underglaze blue that reads ‘大清雍正年制’. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
