Description.
A bowl with a deep, cylindrical body, slightly wider at the mouth, standing on a short circular base. The exterior is richly decorated with ‘pink family’ enamel on a lime-green ground, on which a network of scrolls, lotuses in bloom, small bats with outstretched wings, and traditional Buddhist symbols stand out, all framed by two borders of lace and ruyis set against a yellow background. A six-character seal in red enamel ‘大清嘉庆年制’ is set in the base. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
