Description.
A monochrome porcelain vessel, of a flattened circular shape with a convex base and a gently domed lid, a classic design used to hold the cinnabar paste for seals. The piece is coated with a reddish glaze. The interior and the rim are glazed in white, providing contrast. On the base, it bears a six-character mark (大清康熙年制). Qing Dynasty (1644–1912). or later.
