Porcelain cup, “Birds and Flowers”, Ming Dynasty

A circular porcelain bowl with walls that slope gently towards a circular rim and a short ring foot. The exterior decoration features a design of birds perched on flowering and fruit-bearing branches, all rendered in cobalt blue on a white background. The upper and lower rims are outlined by fine double lines. On the base, it bears a six-character mark (大明成化年制). Ming Dynasty (1368–1644).  or later.
