Porcelain cup ‘Characters’, Qing dynasty

Porcelain cup with a circular base, narrow foot and curved body that widens slightly towards the mouth. It is decorated with underglaze blue and white enamels that show a continuous scene with characters, rocks and traditional elements. A small central flower can be seen on the inside. On the base is a four-character seal ‘成化年制’. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
