Description.
A porcelain dish of slightly conical shape, made of white paste and covered with a warm-toned ivory glaze, typical of northern Ding kilns. The rim is reinforced with a dark metal rim. The interior is delicately incised with a large, symmetrical floral motif, probably a peony or lotus flower, with curved petals, stylized leaves, and undulating stems. On the base is an extensive inscription or poem.
Diameter: 17 cm
