Description.
A porcelain bowl decorated with enamels from the Rose Family (fencai) on a white ground. The outer surface shows a detailed depiction of pomegranate branches with open fruit, a symbol of prosperity and fertility, accompanied by flowers and leaves in the pink, green and yellow tones characteristic of this technique. The rim is finished with a thin gold line. The base has a circular seal in blue underglaze with the inscription ‘大清雍正年製’. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
