Description.
Chinese export porcelain, produced for the Portuguese market. In the centre is the royal coat of arms of Portugal (the official design used between 1815 and 1910), surrounded by garlands of flowers and intertwined ribbons supporting the Cross of the Order of Christ at the bottom. The rim of the plate features a neoclassical border, decorated in blue with scales and plant motifs. It has a multi-lobed edge and a mark on the base.
