Porcelain plate “Crowned Coat of Arms of Portugal”, 20th century

Chinese export porcelain, produced for the Portuguese market. In the centre is the royal coat of arms of Portugal (the official design used between 1815 and 1910), surrounded by garlands of flowers and intertwined ribbons that support the Cross of the Order of Christ at the bottom. The rim of the plate features an elegant neoclassical border, with a gold ribbon alternating with bouquets of flowers and cartouches.
