Porcelain plate ‘Infantes’, by Zhang Wenchao

Porcelain, decorated with glazes from the ‘pink family’. The central medallion depicts a scene of children playing with a bouquet of roses and a white dove. The rim of the plate is decorated with a border of geometric and floral motifs. It bears a four-character mark on the base, ‘景德镇制’, as well as the artist’s mark on the front rim.
