A plate made of export-quality Chinese porcelain, decorated in underglaze blue with gold highlights and polychrome enamels. The central motif features the coat of arms of Luis Peregrino de Ataíde, surrounded by a border alternating between phoenixes and lotus flowers. The outer rim features a continuous band of interlaced scrolls.
