Description.
Glazed porcelain with polychrome and gold decoration, in the form of a tray with a lobed rim and one end extended to form a handle. The centre of the piece is decorated with a heraldic shield flanked by two classical female figures, possibly attributed to the ‘Sampaio e Melo’ family. The rim features a fine gold border. The base bears a five-character stamp in red (永勝彩瓷廠).
