Description.
Porcelain vase with a spherical body, a long cylindrical neck and a slightly flared mouth. The piece is covered with a scene of churning waves over which small dragons with serpentine bodies fly. The decoration is arranged in horizontal bands separated by white lines, including borders of rhomboidal motifs and scrollwork. On the base, it bears the six-character mark ‘大清康熙年制’. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).
