Description.
Porcelain vase in the shape of a lantern. Decorated with a sapphire blue background engraved with a delicate sgraffiato motif, over which scrolls of flowers in yangcai enamels (pink family) extend. The shoulder and base feature borders of stylized motifs on an orange-red background. The rim is gilded, and both the interior and base are covered with turquoise blue enamel. The base bears a six-character mark “大清乾隆年制” in underglaze blue.
