Description.

Cast and minted silver with an antique patina and slight surface wear. The obverse features a central design of two crossed flags of the Republic of China beneath a plum blossom, surrounded by the English inscriptions ‘THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA’ and ‘ONE DOLLAR’. The reverse shows the Pah Kwah trigram (☰) within a crown, all surrounded by the Chinese characters ‘念紀立成憲省南湖/壹 壹/圓 圓/日一月一年一十國民華中’ flanked by ears of rice. Dated in the 11th year of the Republic (1922).
