Pendant assembled from fifteen carved quartz beads (Warring Kingdoms Period), alternating cylindrical, oval, hexagonal and spheroidal shapes, in translucent white and pale pinkish, softly nuanced shades. The carvings show great technical precision, with sharp cuts, well-polished surfaces and clean perforations. They are interspersed with three gilt-bronze spherical beads (Yuan dynasty), cast and chiselled. Two of them are decorated in relief with granulated spiral motifs, and a third, smaller bead has a concentric ring design. The multiple beads are strung on a braided cord of turquoise-blue thread with an adjustable clasp. Period of the Warring Kingdoms (475-221 BC) and Yuan dynasty (1271-1368) or later.
