Description.
A pendant composed of four gilt-bronze beads (Yuan dynasty) and four white quartz beads (Warring Kingdoms period). The set is arranged in symmetry, with two spherical bronze beads richly decorated with reliefs at the upper ends, followed by quartz beads in the shape of elongated drops, alternating with faceted spherical bronze beads. The central motif is a lobed flower-shaped pendant, carved in translucent white quartz, with bevelled edges on its outer contour. It is strung on a braided brown cord that has been added at a later date.
