Quartz seal “Turtle”, Qing dynasty

Carved quartz seal, with a crystalline and translucent hue. The seal head is carved in the form of a tortoise with its head raised, legs drawn in, and shell adorned with hexagonal patterns. The impression surface retains traces of cinnabar and characters carved in the seal script style. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).  or later.
