Oil on canvas. A post-Impressionist-style still life depicting California poppies and petunias in a blue ceramic vase. Signed and dated ‘Raoul Dusfol 1959’ in the lower right-hand corner. Inscription ‘No. 887 Lunguedoc H.S. 39 “Servase Bleue” Fleurs “Escholtzia” et “Petunia” Raoul Dusfol. 14x5x59’ on the reverse of the frame.
