Rationalist style grandfather clock

Grandfather clock, crafted from carved wood in a medium brown tone with areas of subtle alteration and visible natural grain. This piece of fine furniture is presented vertically, with a structure divided into three main sections on a molded base. The upper section houses the clock face, featuring a white background with black Roman numerals and stylized hands, all framed by a square door and a gently arched crest. The central section, or protective case, has a large glazed door with elongated panels that reveals the internal mechanism, suspension chains, and pendulum. The lower base displays a discreet ornamental panel carved with a geometric motif of a rhombus and a central oval. The overall silhouette is characterized by clean, simple lines, inspired by Art Deco or Rationalist styles. Early 20th century.
