Description.
Carved jade seal in reddish brown with amber veins and signs of patina. It has a sturdy rectangular base, crowned by a stylised dragon with a sinuous coiled body, meticulously detailed with incisions and openwork depicting the mane, horn and musculature. The seal ‘御赐朗吟阁宝’ is incised on the base. Qing dynasty (1644-1912).
