Description.
Agate bead with an unusually long tubular shape and flattened profile. Multiple concentric rings of white and grey can be seen on the reddish background, joining together in the centre. The surface shows a rich patina of ageing and signs of wear from continuous use. Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD).
