Description.

A pod-shaped Dzi-style ritual bead, crafted from red agate of a deep hue. It displays a natural brown veining in the central section. The surface retains a smooth polish, an antique patina and a longitudinal hole for threading. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
