Description.
Reddish jade with whitish speckles. The piece is semi-circular in shape with an openwork base with three supports. It is decorated with multiple incised motifs in an archaic style that form a taotie mask with large circular eyes and a broad nose. It has multiple perforations for ritual suspension. Liangzhu culture (approx. 3300–2300 BC) or later.
