Description.
A figurine of an elderly fisherman holding a lobster; made of porcelain. Created and hand-painted by the designer Mary Nicoll for Royal Doulton England. Inscription “The Lobster Man/H.N. 2317/COPR 1963/ Doulton & Co Limited/Rd No. 911641/Rd No. 44989/Rd No. 446[1]63” beneath the Royal Doulton England logo in the centre of the base. Above this inscription appear “Hand made and hand decorated” and “DH”, the latter in handwriting. With a circular hole in the base. It bears no explicit signature by Mary Nicoll.
