Description.

Two-bodied vase made of green glass paste (pâte de verre). Edition 127/ 200. It is engraved "Daum" and bears the signature of Salvador Dalí on the mould. The vase is in very good condition with minimal traces of wear. 

The 'Vert d'Espagne' vase was made from a model by the surrealist Salvador Dalí in collaboration with the Daum glass factory, with which the artist collaborated between 1968 and 1984. The Daum glass factory was established in 1878 in France. It was known for its use of glass paste and for its Art Nouveau glass works, and was a competitor of Émile Gallé.
