Description.

A spectacular surrealist sculpture in antique silver, belonging to the imagination of the great Salvador Dalí. This surrealist work represents the stylized, mythical, and Dalinian figure of Gradiva, conceived in honor of his muse and wife, Gala. The sculptural composition is divided into two conceptual sections strongly linked to geometry and the distortion of physical forms. The base of the metal structure consists of a three-dimensional bronze cube with a rough, porous, and organic texture that simulates molten or coral material. Suspended or anchored at the exact center of this cube is a smaller, perfectly geometric polyhedron. From the top of the cube emerges the female silhouette, defying the natural rigidity of the metal. She appears with outstretched arms and a large, flowing cloak, rising in balance above the cubic structure. The entire piece rests on a polished marble pedestal, which incorporates a small metal plaque on its front.
