“Sanduo” porcelain vessel with wooden base, stamped Xuande

Water vessel for scholars, globular and flattened in shape, made of white porcelain. Its outer walls are decorated with iron red enamel, with the motif of “Three Abundances” (Sanduo) formed by branches of peach, pomegranate, and lychee trees. The base bears a six-character mark “大明宣德年制” in blue underglaze. Set on a carved wooden foot with multiple volute-shaped feet.
