Description.
Set of four archaic jade pendants, with the characteristic segmented arch or huang shape. Each piece is perforated at its ends to form part of a more complex breastplate or ritual ornament. The jade has extensive and intense calcification, known as ‘chicken bone’, which gives it a whitish and opaque appearance, indicative of its age.
