Description.
An amber-coloured Shoushan stone seal, with a rectangular base crowned by a Buddhist lion. The animal is depicted in a playful pose, holding a perforated ball beneath its forepaw and clutching a ribbon in its jaws. Characters are incised on the sides, whilst the base bears the carved seal mark. Qing Dynasty (1644–1911). or later.
