Description.
An orange-hued Shoushan stone, carved in the shape of a square seal topped by a mythical creature. It is depicted seated with its head turned, a powerful expression, jaws slightly parted and an imposing mane. Three of the sides of the base are engraved with inscriptions and the base features incised characters. Qing Dynasty (1644–1911).
