Description.
A carved Tianhuang stone, with a brilliant orange hue. It is crowned by a mythical beast in a seated posture, with its head held high, finely detailed fur, sharp claws and elongated horns. One side of the square-shaped body bears an incised inscription of a poetic nature. The base retains the seal impression. With its original period box. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912). or later.
