Description.
Carved Shoushan stone. It has an irregular shape, taking advantage of the natural morphology of the stone to carve a bas-relief design of plum blossom branches that runs across the surface. The base contains a calligraphic inscription engraved with traces of red pigment. It shows patina due to age.
