Description.
Carved Shoushan stone in a honey tone. It has a rectangular base topped by a mythical lion with its cub. The adult animal shows details in its curly mane and musculature, through fine incised lines and elegant reliefs, while the small cub climbs up its side. The base contains a calligraphic inscription with traces of red cinnabar pigment.
