Description.
Made of orange-toned Shoushan stone. It has a square base topped by the figure of two carp emerging from raging waves. The details of the scales, fins and waves are defined by incisions and fine reliefs. The base features an incised and inked calligraphic inscription. The base of the seal contains characters incised in bas-relief with traces of cinnabar pigment. It is presented on a silk-lined pedestal and box. Qing dynasty (1644–1912).
