Description.
Orange-toned Shoushan stone. It has a square base topped by the image of a pixiu in an alert pose, depicted with vigorous features, fine scales on its back, a thick mane and defined musculature through incisions. The base features an incised inscription and characters in low relief for stamping. It comes with a textile pedestal and a custom-made box. Qing dynasty (1644-1912).
