Shoushan seal ‘Sages under the tree’, Qing dynasty

Shoushan stone seal in an orange hue, carved from a rectangular block with a smooth finish. It is decorated with bas-reliefs depicting a landscape scene in which two wise men converse in the shade of a tree, alongside mountains and birds in flight. One side features an incised inscription. The base contains engraved characters with traces of pigment. It comes with a textile pedestal and a custom-made box with an identification label.
